Washington State Superintendent of the Year Golf Classic 2009

Thank you to all that participated in the first, Washington State Superintendent of the Year Golf Classic! It would not have been as wonderful an event without each and every one of you there. It was truly a pleasure meeting all of you and we can't wait to see you all again at our next year's event. We gained new friendships, new partnerships and a greater awareness of the direction our company is headed and how Neuropath Learning can assist you, your teachers and your students with greater success!

To all of you who nominated a Superintendent and who voted for their choice of Superintendent of the Year, thank you. And congratulations to Art Jarvis, Superintendent of the Tacoma School District, on becoming the Washington State Superintendent of the Year! Here is one of the many nice things said about Mr. Jarvis: "Art has served public Education for 40 years and as a superintendent he is willing to share his expertise and knowledge with all others. He is personable and is fully committed to all children of Washington State."

There were two Superintendents that were both within 1 vote of receiving this award, these two Superintendents were recognized at the reception.

The first recognized nominee was Dr. Steve Chestnut, Superintendent of the Selah School District, congratulations Dr. Chestnut!
Dr. Chestnut was regretfully unable to attend the event but will be receiving his award very soon.

The second recognized nominee was Dr. Frank Hewins, Superintendent of the Franklin Pierce School District.
Dr. Hewins was able to attend and graciously accepted his award, congratulations Dr. Hewins!
